SADNEWS: Logan Webb of the Giants got brutalized by Aaron Judge of the Yankees. (Video in News)…

This weekend’s game between the San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees is scheduled. On Friday, New York defeated San Francisco 6-2 in the opening game. But there are still two games in the series between the Yankees and Giants. Giants star Through Chris Rose Sports, Logan Webb recently discussed his thoughts on facing the Yankees, Juan Soto, and Aaron Judge.

Webb remarked, “I think the Yankees always draw a good crowd wherever they go.” “There will be a lot of Yankee supporters since I kind of watched them play the Angels and the entire crowd was made up of Yankees fans. It should be a good one because both of us and them are playing excellent baseball right now. Facing some of the guys isn’t enjoyable. Since you had to confront Aaron Judge… Last year, I appeared in his book, Opening Day. Thus, avoid tossing it there.

“When I toss a ball and smile at Juan Soto, I know he’s going to shuffle.” It’s fantastic, and I adore it. There will undoubtedly be many Giants.

Prior to the 2023 season, Judge was connected to the Giants in free agency; however, he finally decided to sign with the Yankees again. In 2024, Soto will be a free agent, and Webb thinks that some Giants supporters would try to sign him when New York is still traveling.

Logan Webb got ready for the Yankees vs. Giants game.

On Opening Day of 2023, Webb made his lone start against the Yankees and gave up four earned runs in six innings of work. Judge hit a home run off Webb, but he also walked the Giants pitcher twice.

As Webb pointed out, attendance usually rises when the Yankees visit the area. Even so, the Giants always draw a sizable crowd, although many Yankees supporters will be present. On Saturday night, Webb is anticipated to make a pitch in what looks to be a competitive competition.

“It’s unbelievable that my grandson is playing against the New York Yankees, even my grandmother said,” Webb added. And I think, “Yeah, that’s cool.” Granma, you’re getting me to think about it now that I hadn’t considered it in that way. I’m becoming a little anxious now. No, I’m ecstatic.

Among MLB’s top pitchers is Webb. Thus far in 2024, he has made a league-leading 12 starts and thrown to a fantastic 2.74 ERA. In 72.1 innings pitched, he has also struck out 61 batters.

The Giants are moving up the standings gradually. San Francisco is 6-4 over their previous ten games, which is a good record despite their current 29-29 record. With the talented Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West, San Francisco’s chances of winning the West are limited. An NL Wild Card run is still very much a possibility, though.

San Francisco will concentrate on their present series with New York for the time being. The Giants will try to recover this Saturday, and the first pitch is set for 10:05 PM EST at Oracle Park in San Francisco.
