The 2024 Tennessee football season’s game times have been revealed. We now know when Tennessee will play the remainder of its schedule after learning the start times for the team’s first three games a few weeks ago.
The Vols’ first game of 2024 will take place at 12:45 PM ET versus Chattanooga. After that, Tennessee will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, to play North Carolina State in a 7:30 PM ET start. Prior to SEC play, they will take on Kent State at 7:45 PM ET.
There will be four distinct game time periods this year (all times are Eastern). The times of the games are as follows: early games start at noon, afternoon games at 3:30 or 4:30 PM, night games at 6:00 or 8:00 PM, and flex games, which are still to be scheduled, can start in the afternoon or at night. This is the 2024 season’s complete game time window schedule.

Tennessee has two night games, one early game, and five flex games in their SEC schedule. The two night games will take place at home in back-to-back weeks against Kentucky and Mississippi State, with the lone early game being the regular season finale versus Vanderbilt. The Vols flex matchups are Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia as of the original publication. With the exception of three games in the afternoon or at night, this provides Tennessee with game times for afternoon or night games in 2024, with two early games against non-conference opponents.
This year, Tennessee has just four road games—all of which are flex matches. The Vols may face difficult SEC conditions at night if every game takes place between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Tennessee may play Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Georgia at night if the Vols have a solid start to the season.
