Jersey numbers have been released for summer enrollees on the Seminoles’ roster
Florida State football is expecting a lot of newcomers to the program this summer. The roster looks significantly different from last season. Jersey numbers are released on the Seminoles’ official football roster for players who enrolled in the program this summer.-LB Cam Riley: #18-RB Micahi Danzy: #19-DB Omarion Cooper: #21-K Jake Weinberg: n- ro 22-DB Ricky Knight III: No. 26-RB Zay Parks: No. 27-RB Jeremiah Johnson: No. 30-DL Amaree Williams : No. 40\ n -LB Gav Holman: No. 43-TE Nick Roebas-Bass: No. 44-TE Luke Douglas: No. 45-LS Weston Edwards: #49-DL DD Holmes: #52-OL Jacob Rizy: #64-OL Manasee Itete: #70-OL Jonathan Daniels: #74-WR Elijah Moore: #81-WR Willy Suarez: #85-DL D’Nas White: #92-DL William Ross: #97-DL Jamorie Lipp: #99THOUGHTSPersonally, I am a big fan of many of the players the Seminoles brought in this summer. However, I am very excited about the three transfers that came in linebacker Cam Riley, defensive end Omarion Cooper and offensive tackle Jacob Rizy.Let’s start with Riley. The former Auburn quarterback was very productive in his four seasons with the Tigers. He could bring a different dynamic to a defense that must replace veterans like Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune. Riley could be just the veteran they need in the position room.As for Cooper, he was already on the Seminoles’ roster. Unfortunately, he decided to transfer to Colorado and played one season in Boulder. It was short-lived, though, and now he’s back in Tallahassee. Florida State needs to find contributors to replace veteran safety Akeem Dent. Could he give an answer there? Finally, the Seminoles added Harvard offensive lineman Jacob Rizy. Florida State’s coaching staff sees him as an interior offensive lineman. The problem is that there are several veterans in the room competing for the opportunity. Can Rizy become a staple even if you join in the summer?.
