Upon switching his commitment from SMU to Alabama, Keelon Russell made multiple remarks about his intention to lead the 2025 class in recruiting and gaining players. The Crimson Tide has added seven pledges since his historic decision precisely two weeks ago, and their class is currently rated third. Offensive linemen have made three of those commitments. Last Monday, Chris Kapilovic received his first commitment from four-star Michael Carroll. A day later, in-state, legendary Mal Waldrep did the same. Official visits were made by both the previous weekend. The most recent addition is, quite literally, enormous. The 6-foot-7, 290-pound Jackson Lloyd, a four-star offensive tackle, made his decision public on Tuesday afternoon.
