On Sunday, the Indiana Fever rookie had one rebound of a triple-double, and he did it while playing with a migraine headache.Clark finished Sunday’s game against the Phoenix Mercury with 15 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds. She was nearly the first WNBA rookie to record a triple-double in league history.Although that feat will have to wait, the Fever beat the Mercury 88-82. After the game, Clark was absent from the postgame press conference. Indiana coach Christie Sides said the freshman didn’t feel well during the game.”He didn’t feel good the whole game,” Sides said. “He’s with his trainer now.”Chloe Peterson of the Indianapolis Star reported at the time that Clark was battling migraine headaches. He’s been at it his entire basketball career.With Sunday’s performance, Clark now has double-doubles in two of his last three games. Palavik has also won five of his last seven races.After the game, Mercury star and former WNBA MVP Diana Taurasi praised Clark for her performance this season.”I mean, it’s incredible what Caitlin has been able to do in her short career so far — it’s just been remarkable,” Taurasi said. “One thing I really love about him is that he loves the game.
