Police Guitarist Andy Summers Says Rare 1980s Recordings with King Crimson’s Robert Fripp Will Be Released Soon

Reflecting more on the unreleased recordings, Andy said he thought to himself after hearing them, “Why was I tossing those out?,” since I was basically the maker [of I Progress Veiled and Entranced]. … They were all truly [great]. They were just like the other tracks that we really put out.”

On How His Collaborations with Fripp Came Around
Summers too talked with Extreme Guitar approximately he wound up recording those collections with Fripp in the 1980s. He clarified that he and Robert developed up close each other and started playing music within the same scene.
